I live in a very small apartment with a tiny deck this is perfect. My husband likes it as it gives us a little privacy from the neighbor patio's. He wants to put them all around the deck!! Not happening! BarbaraSo I just assumed that it would fit our deck without measuring, and it does, but just not quite like in the photos (with the back against the railing). It’s sturdy enough for someone to put a plate of food on and some drinks and maybe lean on. The weatherproofing, not so great. Gonna buy a can of poly to make it better. We ended up using zip ties to fasten it to not ruin our deck and bc of the fit. Overall, decent buy if you want one. It also actually makes like a blocker/separator from neighbors for our outdoor deck living area which is kind of nice.Love the quality, the wood looks much better than the picture, and I appreciated the thoughtful extra screws and the sturdy packaging. But we had to make some adjustments. The top was too high and obscuring the view so we took a hand saw and cut the top two boards off - we really like the effect! The raw edge was similar in color enough to just need sanding. We also bought 4 L-brackets and a 3M furniture pad for 10 bucks to secure the desk in place to the railing and the uneven legs to the floor. Prior to this, the two hind legs didn't touch the ground and the entire desk would slip around even with multiple zip ties (the original pieces to secure the desk didn't fit our wide railing - see picture). Both the pad and the brackets were absolutely a game changer and we went from 'should we return..?' to 'love it!!' All this took 3 hours with two novice DIYers, which is not an insignificant time but it was worth it.Oh, the bar chairs are from Target. Works great!Update: The instructions, when I found them, were excellent and installation was not all that hard. The hardware is all marked and bagged separately. There were some extra screws. I am dyslexic & typically can’t do these projects. I am delighted to report that I did it myself in two, three hour sessions. I have an electric drill w/appropriate bits. You need a hex bit. The holes lined up correctly. The foot rest part had a funky place that didn’t fit flush, but it worked out fine. The wood is solid and it is well secured to my 1.5 x 1.5 railing. It well exceeded my expectations. When it’s less windy & overcast, I’ll upload a pic so you can see the table better.I love this little table soooo much! It created an eating area for us on our balcony that doesn't really block the view, is bar height and can stand up to the sea air. I DID brush 2 coats of Tung oil on to really waterproof it. So cute! And yes, it was easy to assemble. All of the boards are well labeled. We used clear zip ties to fasten it to the balcony because the metal brackets could scratch our railing. Zip ties can't be seen and won't corrode in the salt air either. Tempted to buy a second one for the far side of the balcony. This bar table is the perfect size for our small deck. Gives us a nice spot to pull up some stools, have some drinks and food while enjoying the view. The wood looks and feels high quality. It was easy to put together with the good instructions that were provided. Didn't take long at all either. I did make one adjustment on how to secure to the deck railing. I chose to use a couple of galvanized corner brackets. Was a piece of cake to do and only took minutes. It's just what worked best for the size railing I have. Table was level to the deck on first try - no adjustments needed for that. Really great deck table! Highly recommend. We wanted a little table that we could sit at and have drinks or a bite to eat while looking out at the lake from our condo. This table was perfect and in fact we ordered a second one so that 4 people can "sit at the bar" and enjoy the lake view. One mistake that we made though was that we ordered the stools for this table separately and the stools they sent us were not the same color as the table (even though they were supposed to be the same color). The table is kind of a gray color and the stools were stained wood (brown). We liked the stools and decided to keep them rather than going through the hassle of shipping them back.I absolutely love it! My bf just put it together a couple of days ago so we have been having our morning breakfasts/coffee and even had a dinner out here since he put it up. I didn’t buy the stools that can come with the bar as I wanted stools that have some cushion. It’s supposed to rain this week so I will be able to see how it holds up in the rain. And we don’t have a regular balcony railing so I had to order some long nails and nail it to the wood railing of our balcony.cuisine intérieurecomptoir supplémentaire
